Now if you have a really bad callus or cracking heels you may need to do this after you soak your feet or shower and a few times before you get best results. but over all this is really powerful and totally gets the job done. secondly, I love the fact that I do not need no batteries for this, i've tried many callus removers that required batteries and let me just say they suck. This one though comes with a plug in charger and this only takes about one hour to charge to max if it's completely dead and out of juice. I really like this feature on it because i can bring this on the go with me anywhere which I already have brought this to a motel on a small weekend vacation we went on . THis works great at home and on the go easy charge quick charge too. also this comes with a soft but protecting hard case, which fits everything in it that goes to this and it protects it all . Per the instructions, the first thing that needs to be done is to charge the callus remover for 10 hours, but not more than 16 hours. When the unit is charging, a red LED light shows on the handle of the callus remover. However, the light does not turn off when the 10+ hours is up, so the red LED light is on anytime it is plugged in. Also, you can operate the callus remover while it is plugged in, but I don't think that it gives the unit more power, I just think think that it tries to charge it while you are operating it. Thus, I would wait until you are done using the unit before starting to charge the unit. The operation of this callus remover is very easy to use! All you do is remove the cover over the roller head and slide the blue button up to start the head rolling. Then, start to gently move the instrument over areas that have built up dried and dead skin. I would advise to perform this over a garbage can or somewhere that can catch dropped and dusted dead skin as it is removed from your skin by the instrument. This instrument works great! You will be amazed at how well it removes dead skin, and I LOVE that it comes with two more roller heads! I used this once on both feet, and had significant improvement on my rough feet. But I've done that about three times already - got a new razor instead of buying parts and this time, I decided to stick with my Panasonic Razor till the batteries die. This foil/blade set make a big difference. I use my razor dry and wet. But when you notice that you shave the same spot about three times and the hair still won't come off, you probably need new blades. And for the price the Amazon offered, it's the cheapest out there. But for review purpose, I used Epilator adaptor and it pulls hair gently and quickly without irritating skin . It hurts little bit like anything else that pulls hair out of the skin, I wouldn’t lie. But, it’s quick and safe to pull hair. Unlike waxing, it doesn’t leave skin red or peel the skin. I can see if someone has lots of hair to pull out, it can be very painful. I would suggest to put “numbing ointment” about 15 min prior to using Epilator can help ease the pain. Good thing about using Epilator is, eventually, no hair will grow on your legs. I have been using Epilator for multiple years and now, my legs doesn’t have any hair. If any, it will be one or two strand of hair and I can even use tweezers to pull it out. Best part of this device is, it’s rechargeable. I have another one (pretty popular one on the market) and its battery operated and after just couple of use, I need to replace battery. Just past 3 months period, I think I’ve spend more money on batteries than actual price of devices. So, I was very happy to see this is rechargeable. I have no use for clippers and trimmers for myself, but my husband does use it. So, we are using all adaptors that came with this device. I had an opportunity to purchase this product discounted in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. I've never used one before and I have to say I may never again. I liked the IDEA, but disliked the pain. It's like having someone attack you with a million tweezers to rip hairs out. Seeing this is the whole idea behind them, I can't see any other machine being different so I won't deduct stars. I will just pretend that add on doesn't exist. If someone knows a pain free way to use them, feel free to reply and let me know. But clippers/shaver worked just fine that I don't see a reason to put myself thru that again. Before your first use, charge for 16 hrs so make sure to put it on immediately when you get it. I like that this includes a carry pouch and a brush to clean it. OVERVIEW: - The device comes with one replacement head, an electric power supply and a small brush to clean the head once you've used it - You have to charge the product fully before using it for the first time, at least 12 hours but not more than 16 hours - Once the device is fully charged, it can work non-stop for 30 minutes - According to a small icon on the back of the device, it's shower-approved WHAT I THOUGH OF THIS PRODUCT: - I used the file on my feet for about 4 to 5 minutes, covering all areas. It did a good job, but an ordinary manual file would have provided me with the same result - You can't apply a great deal of pressure since the device will stop. That means that deep crevasses are not so much softer - Quality of the device is ok. I am on my feet for more than 12 hours a day and sometimes that works hell on my feet, I don't have severe calluses like the one on the box because I like to stop them from developing ASAP. This product helps me do just that. At the slightest sign of a callus I use this product and my feet go right back to baby soft! I can not do anything without this product it is much easier to use than a pumps stone or a handheld foot file. The good thing about this product is that it's waterproof as well so if you prefer to use it in the shower you don't have to worry about ruining it! [You're currently reading my review from the white one's product page] I really enjoy these rechargeable callus removers. As most of us, the reasons we neglect the skin on our feet range from either not being able to comfortably reach them, we don’t have enough time, we don’t want to sit there with a cheese grater-like item, scrubbing back and forth to remove dead skin. We normally give up before its smooth enough, or we go fork out $40+ every 2 weeks to have a pedicure done. Not only that, but many diabetics don’t have good blood circulation, causing the build-up of dried skin on their feet, and usually have some form of neuropathy, putting them in danger if they use the sharp callus removers. I love that I could sit comfortably and let these callus removers do the work for me. The rollers are tough enough to remove thick dry skin, but are sensitive enough to not cut yourself (as long as you use these properly). Even if you press too hard, the rollers will simply stop rolling. I had shoulder surgery, and currently only have use of one arm, so these callus removers couldn’t have come at a better time for me.Read more › Comment 8 people found this helpful.
