Big and bulky but gets the job done

By ValueSeeker on December 5, 2011 This thing looks like and weighs as much as a brick, but its size and weight allows it to have a bigger power cell, making it a powerful shaver that gets the job done quickly. Yes, powerful also means loud, but the time it'll save you over the more elite shaver products is completely worth it. Uses a Ni-Cd power cell, but I haven't noticed any decline in power over 2+ years. But I also, only really charge it when it runs out of power, about once a week. Comment 5 people found this helpful. This Remington does that, and it runs the blades plenty fast (faster than later Remington maodels) so I get a close shave. I tend to shower first and after drying off, then shave with this razor, so the blades and screen do not clog up. I also clean the blades and blow out the screen after every shave and this keeps the razor in great shape and working perfectly. Very inexpensive, I own three of these for the cost of one from other manufacturers (or the fancy ones from Remington). Have never had a problem with it until it just died of being worn out, I guess. The refurbished DA-307 works just as well as the old one, as Victor Kiam said at the time: "Outshaves the blade", and it does. As I'm now almost 78, it's very unlikely that I'll be around to wear this one out, if it lasts as long as the first one. Maybe then my heirs will auction off a "used, but good" DA-307??
