This chromium tanned horsehide strop is soft and flexible, with a medium drag, and will require no break-in period. Extremely high quality at an affordable price. These strops are of the finest quality. The strop is a full 3" (76mm) wide x 27" (686mm) long with a full 17" (432mm) of stropping surface. This width allows you to use straight strokes with no need for the X pattern stroke. This is a definite plus in your daily maintenance routine. All of the hardware is cast by us in our foundry, then nickel plated and buffed to a lustrous shine. The top hanger is a triangle, which allows for ease of attachment to any hook, and minimizes the pendulum effect of swinging. This strop is very suitable for travel, the hardware on both ends can fold down allowing the strop to fit into carry-on luggage.
