for single blade this is probably the best shaver i have ever had and i have had over 7 shavers. close and comfortable shave everytime. one drawback is that you must keep it charge. does not come with cord for ac/dc shaving..excellent product nonetheless...

Wet/Dry Shaver

This product met my expectations for an electric shaver. I can't shave too often or my face will bump up. This shaver is great as it gives a close shave but is not harsh on your face. Works great in the shower too.

Great Men's shaver

I purchased this Panasonic Electric Razor because I was desperate. All I could find in Local stores was brands I had tried before and did not really have good experiences with. I did not want to risk spending a lot on an unknown razor, so i tried it. Wow! This is the BEST electric Razor I have ever used. It gives me a clean shave without a lot of effort. I can actually tell by the sound, when it is cutting beard and when the area is clean. This is the closest I have ever gotten to a regular blade shaver with electric. I like it so well, that after a month, I purchased a spare foil and blade, so that I can keep using it past the normal foil life. That part I do not know about yet. How long will the foil last? With other razors, the foils did not last very long and the replacement cost was not that much less than a new shaver. At Amazon, I got a new foil and blade for a very nominal price. I am very hapy I gave the Panasonic a try. Ted Misich

This is my 6th panasonic single blade shaver. The closest, most comfortable shave in the shower. I've tried multible head shavers, and prefer the single head model.

A Great Simple Panasonic Wet/Dry Shaver

The Panasonic ES-SA40-K Pro Curve Wet/Dry Shaver, is the best simple single blade shaver that I have used. I shave in the shower and have used many of the Panasonic wet/dry shavers. The Panasonic ES-SA40-K Pro Curve Wet/Dry Shaver single blade gives me the best shave for the cost. Over the past 20 years, I have used many of the 2 & 3 blade Panasonic shavers, but I keep coming back to the single blade. None of them give you the best shave around the neck, but the Panasonic ES-SA40-K Pro Curve Wet/Dry Shaver, single blade has done the best of all of them. The price is reasonable and by the time you wear it out, you can either purchase replacement blade and foil or just buy a new one. I use Scrubbing Bubbles to clean off the shaving cream scum and the shaver looks like it did when it was new. I hope you enjoy your new Panasonic ES-SA40-K Pro Curve Wet/Dry Shaver as much as I have.

This is definitely a great shaver for the price. Personally I'd rather have it to use than most shavers multiple times the cost. Is simple works well, light, very easy to use and charge. I only have to charge it once every few weeks it seems. However, be warned you must use it every day for it to work. If you wait and use it when hair has grown out it will hardly have any affect at all in cutting long hairs..
