Product Description
Panasonic's ES-ST25KS Arc3 3-Blade Mens Electric Razor is the ultimate in smooth, comfortable shaving. It features three 30° Nanotech, blades for gentler shaving on sensitive skin, plus ultra-thin, Multi-Fit Arc foils to flex and conform to the natural contours of the face for incredible smoothness. Powered by a precision-performance 13,000 cpm linear drive motor, this Arc3 shaving machine also features a pivoting Multi-Flex shavers head that glides effortlessly over the chin and jaw line. For consistently even shaving, a built-in shaving sensor continually "reads" differences in beard density to automatically adjust cutting power. Ergonomically designed for total comfort and control, the Panasonic ES-ST25KS Arc3 mens electric razor shaver is also 100% waterproof and wet dry convenient to let you shave dry or with your favorite gel or foam in the shower. A handy pop-up trimmer adds the perfect finish to sideburns, mustaches and beards. Cleaning the ES-ST25KS is quick and simple. Just switch open the dual water shutters in the mens electric razor head and rinse clean under warm running water. A stylish AC charging stand and protective travel holder are included.

Works for me.

This is a great, compact shaver for my face. I used a much cheaper Panasonic for many years without problems, so perhaps I'm used to what it can do -- but it charged in less than an hour and did away with my medium thickness 5 day growth without bothering my skin. Requires a second pass to get very close. Comes with convenient compact stand (and you need this to charge it, so it will have to travel with you), with Arc 3, fast nano blades, and beard sensor (the value of the latter being unclear; I gather the idea is it can back off the max power when necessary, making it easier on that part of your skin) -- and I like that it is a bit more compact and the battery indicator is an unobtrusive light that blinks when low rather than the screens with numbers that seem to fail in many. I've only used it dry so far but my experience shaving wet with other panasonics was very good. So look at this if you want something on the lighter, smaller side with 3 blades (two inner blades). Made in Japan. And stubble sensor (that you can turn off)! No complaints here.

3-blades are better than 5!

I am really liking the shave with this shaver. I previously used the Panasonic ES-LV61-A Men's Electric Razor Arc 5. I thought 5 blades would be better, but it was a case where more blades didn't help. This 3-blade shaver is small and enables me to get a closer shave.

I'm very impressed with this razor. It gives a much better shave than my old ES8103 (which served me well for over 6 years before developing an annoying humming sound). Slightly smaller and lighter than the ES8103, and easier to maneuver, especially on the upper lip. The head is fixed and does not pivot, but this does not affect the comfort or quality of the shave at all. In fact, in combination with its sharper angle, the fixed head seems to be one of the reasons for the smooth shave. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it performed. The water scuppers for cleaning are a big plus. One nice thing about the ST25 is that the cost of blades and foil is reasonable compared to the 4- and 5-blade Panasonics (which I've tried by don't like -- too big). A big hit at this house.

Basic shave for a basic price

Shaves as good and as close as the less than $100 Braun and Remington bricks I've used in the past. Noticeably smaller and lighter than previous razors, but nothing wrong with that. I didn't want one of the newer versions that seem to have foils that are too large and too wide for a typical face and shave. This one charges in an hour. Can't use it plugged in because you have to place it in a stand to charge, which takes up a little but still unnecessary room on the counter. It also has two shaving functions that I'm not sure are necessary: press the on button once and the blue light comes on for some beard sensing mode, press the on button twice and the blue light goes off and it's in regular shave mode. So, a decent enough, basic shaver with an unneeded shaving mode and a cumbersome, required shaving stand. But, I stayed under $100, and a fairly good shave for under $100 was my goal.

Love it!

Great little shaver. I read so many reviews and research on shavers. Some get great reviews and some awful and some get both. So its hard to decide what to go with. I was going to get the new modern version of the panasonic, but at a 300.00 price point that was a bit much for me, for a product that might not last long. I previously have used Philips Norelco wet/dry shavers for the longest time. They are decent, do a good job for me, as I don't have thick hair. I have had this shaver for a while now and it gives a pretty close shave. I may have to go over my face quite a few times, but the end result is good. Yeah it doesn't give a perfectly close shave in 2 seconds as everyone would like. But for the price point, shave results, and it holds a charge for a decent time. It works for me.

which I had not been pleased with, but this shaver rivals my old es8066

I was somewhat leary since I had replaced an older model (es8066) with another Panasonic (es9033), which I had not been pleased with, but this shaver rivals my old es8066. I am highly pleased and would recommend this shaver.

Yes, perfect for a woman too.

Bought this for my wife (yes, for her legs!) and she says it is by far the best shaver she has ever used. The handle is sleeker and a little smaller than most men's shavers, and the shave results are most satisfactory. I got a gold star for picking this one.

Panasonic ES-ST25KS 3 Blade Wet/Dry Shaver
By M. K. Seymour on September 3, 2015
I bought this for my 91 year old dad. His old razor was a 3 headed Remington that was catching his skin even with new blades. We went to Walmart and bought a Braun 340s. I knew it would be a big change going from a circular motion to a straight up and down motion. He was getting kinda grumpy not being able to shave. He got more grumpy when we couldn't look at the razor. He wanted to feel it, look at it, but couldn't. I also recommended he use Lectric Shave that he was used to using with the old razor. I'm not sure if he did. But when I went to see him after using it, his face was scruffy like men like today. He's not into that style. I ended up shaving his face, it took 5-10 minutes, and spent a lot of time on his neck. So I ordered this Panasonic ES-ST25KS. It is made in Japan (the holder and cord is made in China). It has a really light feel and was nice to hold. It was pretty quiet too. So I reminded my dad to use the Lectric Shave. When I called him this morning, he did use it. He got a close shave using the Lectric Shave. SUCCESS! He wasn't grumpy anymore. Yea! I'll check his face out later today. He's in assisted living, usually a lot of fun. I'm glad he got his sense of humor back. I told him when I took it to him that if he didn't like the razor, I'd keep it for my legs. So he told me I could go over there and use it anytime. LOL. I'll have to get my own.
