works well, cheaper than blades

By H. moore on March 18, 2014 Size: Bonus Case & Shaving Cream Verified Purchase I've always used blade razors. Most recently the three blade vibrating model and it has been very good. I thought it was a gimmick 'til I tried it. BUT when I went to buy blades at a local retailer and the three pack was $15! That was just too much. So I decided to try the electric style. I bought the Norelco travel razor from a local store and found it was acceptable. After a month with it I decided to get the wet or dry style and read reviews for this and other brands. The Norelco charges fast, lasts for about an hour of run time, shaves close and rinses easily. Both models recommend yearly blade replacement and on the aquatec I believe the blade set is around $20-$25. I do notice some skin irritation if I get too aggressive with the shave (especially with the dry only, travel model), so a small tube of hydro cortisone cream is in my kit now. Excellent Razor

I haven't used it for wet shaving, although I guess I should try it with the stuff that came with it. I like that I can rinse it out under running water. For most of my life (68 years old now) I have been a blade shaver but this razor is so much faster and easier to use. I think anyone who buys this razor will be very happy with it.
