The AA batteries also ensure you won't have an internal battery go bad eventually, and make replacement a snap. Only thing to note is the M60 doesn't have the side trimmer, where the M90 does. Both shaver and batteries have exceeded my expectations. I even use it to shave after my normal shaver as this Braun gives a closer shave. The shaver fits perfectly in my legal briefcase so I have available to clean up if the day runs long. I have used it on several trips with great results. The unique foil guard is ingenious. I have a mole my chin that I have to avoid and some hard turns around my throat. The Braun M60 saves me a lot of blood and time. I shave in the shower and the braun is constantly in water. It has outlived several Norelco wet/dry shavers and a Phillips body groomer. On holidays, I use the Braun M60 exclusively.
