The trimmer and it's attachment provide a good cut in and out of the shower but for the best results, I found using it dry works better as the hair are flattened down by the constant water flow. The bodygroom head works well. Again, best used out of the shower but beware - it is not 100% guaranteed you would nick something at some point. Using it on hard bone such as the clavicle was hard and left redness because of the constant rubbing of the tool going over the bone many times. Despite this, great kit. Verified Purchase We'll see how she operates over time, but, as of now, I really like this shaver. Pros: Beard trimmer is phenomenal. I was after the groomed stubble look and guard-1 fit the bill. No hair pulling/pinching wet or dry. Battery has held a charge exeedingly well after extended use. According to the manual, it should light up uder charge. I used the shaver for 30-min and plugged it in: no light. I can finally store a battery powered shaver without it being pugged in over-night. Cons: The shaver head element didn't perform as well as I'd hoped. First time out the gate, tried it dry: due to the odd angle of use (and trying to shave my back), I was left with red marks. In the shower, for a wet chest & underarm run, it did better, but no matter the angle you find yourself going over and over the same places. No red marks this time, though. Not quite ready for prime time on the more sensitive areas of the body yet. Final thoughts: A quality product that will take some familiarizing with to work as advertised in every situation. Please be aware that that is probably the closest shave you're going to get using a trimmer. It's a much closer shave that any trimmer I've ever used. The power button can be a bit tough to press. You can't use this unit while it's plugged in. This Charges faster that my Braun Cruzer 6 but has a slightly smaller blade width. The blade width (1.25") is smaller than almost any trimmer I've used so please keep that in mind if a wide cutting area is important to you.
