Product Description
The Braun Series 7 760cc-4 Electric Foil Shaver has the world’s only intelligent Sonic technology that automatically increases power in difficult areas. Powered by a lithium ion battery, the Braun Series 7 760cc electric shaver is the smart choice for the discerning man. Significantly gentler and more efficient than any rotary shaver, the Series 7 contours to the curves of your face with flexible blades on a fully pivoting head for maximum coverage. This electric shaver also adapts to your beard density, using up to 10,000 micro vibrations per minute when needed. With less strokes and pressure required, the results are smooth skin without the skin irritation. And as the Series 7 electric razor shaves as close as 0.05mm, as thin as half a human hair, that smoothness lasts longer, for a highly efficient and superior shave. The electric shaver also comes with a Clean&Charge station, the world's only 5- action alcohol-based system that hygiencially cleans, charges, and lubricates the blades and shaver. Engineered, tested and made in Germany, you are guaranteed exceptional performance every day, for up to 7 years.

Shaving Bliss...
By IAMSLICK on September 24, 2010
I have had the benefit of owning the Braun 3-390cc, 3-370, and now the 7-760cc...all in the last 4 months. Before this I owned the 8585 Activator, and before that the 6520 Flex Integral. Before that I forget, but I have been shaving with Braun shavers for about 20 years. They rarely go bad...I just get enticed to buy the latest technology. I bought the 3-390cc about 4 months ago. Before I even had a chance to give it a proper review, TSA lost my shaving kit while inspecting my baggage, and so my shaver was gone. This shaver lacked power. If I skipped a day of shaving, it really bogged down on two days worth of stubble. I felt like I had to have my face 5 times to get everything. And the cleaning system was very rudimentary. If you dropped the shaver into the cleaning system and pressed the button to latch it in there, it cleaned the shaver automatically, whether it was dirty or not. Even if you just cleaned it a few hours ago. No "sensing technology". I don't believe the 3-390cc cleaner had a heated dry either because it would still be wet with the alcohol solution 6-8 hours later. Also, after only 3 months there was a build up of scum in the cleaner where the shaver sits. I opened up the shaver's blade cartridge a couple of times and it still had a few whiskers in there. I probably would have rated it 3 stars. Since TSA lost my 3-390 shaver, but I still had the cleaning system at home, I bought a standalone 3-370 with no cleaning system. I found out quickly it didn't work with the cleaning system from the 3-390cc. I inquired with Braun (P&G) and they said it should, but it didn't, so I sent it back. The 3-370 shaves exactly like the 3-390. I think it has one less LED indicator, and that's it.Read more ›

Fantastic Shave

Braun Series 7-760cc Pulsonic Shaver System, Black and Silver My father used Remington shavers all his life. I have used Remington Electric shavers all my life. I can't do the shaving lotion/non electric blade approach because it is too tough on my skin. The Remington shaver performs as advertised -- a good shave at a value cost. However, after shaving with that brand for 35 years, I asked myself -- Can I get a better/closer electric shaving experience? I read the reviews of the Braun shavers and decided to spend the additional money over the Remington to buy a Series 7-760cc Pulsonic. I can honestly say, the additional money is worth it! The shave is incredible. The incremental cost/day for this shaver is well worth the final cut.

Some nice improvements, shaves the same as older models, 4+ years and working well...

I replaced a 4+ year old Braun 8985 "Series 5 Pulsonic 360" with the recently released (as of Fall of 2010) model 7-760cc-4. I'm unsure of Braun's confusing numbering -- the "dash 4" designation that comes after the "760cc" is printed in such a way on the box that you really have to be looking for it to notice it. If you're not a careful shopper, you may end up with the previous "dash 3" version with the white base. From the descriptions I've read, there's not a whole lot of difference between the two versions -- expect the same shaving performance -- but again, Braun, why the unclear numbering schemes? As of January 2015, I've been using this shaver practically daily. In that time, it's never been "one pass perfect," and actually not as smooth as previous shavers (both electric and razor), but it's close -- and actually, good enough. What's important to me is there are no nicks or cuts, no rash, and no mess. The battery, after all these years (and it's constantly in the charger, unless I'm traveling), remains rock solid. I'm betting the total useful run time is shorter than when it was new, but the battery is storing enough juice that the motor runs strong. I'm not even considering a replacement. Rather than write a bunch more about the performance of this shaver, which is not much different than Braun shavers that came before it, and covered in hundreds of other reviews, I want to point out some of the differences from the previous 8985 and the other Braun shavers of that generation, for those of you considering replacement. - The shaver itself is much smaller in diameter and easier / more comfortable to grip.Read more ›
