By Chicago Bob on February 14, 2016 Verified Purchase The version I was sent under PRIME from 3rd party seller fulfilled by Amazon was the ASIAN version. Box had English and Arabic writing and the plug was very awkward to use. It had a HUGE plug with a US adapter, it did charge the unit fine, but I was not able to use the shaver while plugged in (a feature I wanted) because the plug is so heavy it falls out of outlet CONSTANTLY. I went to a local store (Target) to look at the shaver (was actually ER-GB80 next model up) just to see the box and plug and there was no Arabic writing and the plug was US version. Beside the plug falling out, I am not sure how the warranty would work in the US. I ended up returning this and getting a North American (US) version (opted for GB80) and the plug stays in wall and warranty card says US. Best beard trimmer of them all

I've avoided paying the higher price for these Panasonic ones and bought Wahl and Norelco instead. I finally puller the trigger on this Panasonic and can say that it is the best beard trimmer I've ever used, and best by a long ways. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for the best. With so many settings it was kind of hard not to choose this trimmer and I'm glad I did. The grip on this thing is really good so you won't find yourself shaving and dropping this thing in the sink. What's also great about it is that it works either cordless or plugged in, so you're not out of luck if the thing is low on battery and you've gotta get a quick shave in in the mornings. I've probably owned 3 or 4 beard trimmers in my life and so far this is the best one I've owned. I believe Panasonic also has a ERGB80-K on the market at a higher pricepoint. That model comes with I think an extra attachment for trimming body hair, but the ERGB60-K (with one less attachment) can get the job done just as well while saving you a nice amount of money. It's so easy to adjust whatever length you want to cut at in seconds, compared to more traditional trimmers where you have to switch out attachments. This is my second favorite next to the phillips body groom. I like the nice LED charge indicator on the handle indicates charging progress and displays the level of available battery power. Its large and easy to read. My other trimmer does not have this feature and is always leaving me mid shave / trim. Not good when you are running late with half your face done. Now I will not have to worry about the two face look with this Panasonic. The rubberized grip feels good in your hand. Motor does not bog down under heavy beardage.
