I've been looking for a while for a new beard trimmer, and I've also been wanting a good body groomer. This unit has it all! While I mostly bought it just for the trimmer and body groomer, I have found that the shaver also works very well. I haven't been able to use electric shavers in the past because my skin is just too sensitive, but this unit doesn't bother me. I have used it for both wet and dry shaves without any problems. I love that it is showerproof, and I can rinse all the hair out of it when I am done. It also doesn't take up as much space in my suitcase as my last beard trimming kit. I liked this trimmer so much that I ended up buying one for my brother in law for Christmas. Both of our trimmers are now well over a year old, and they both still work like they did when we got them. I am very impressed with this item!

Kind of Miss the Third Blade from My Old Razor

This is just okay I suppose. I'm coming over from a triple head Norelco, and to be honest I miss that third head. The instructions want you to swirl the two rotary blades around your face; it seems to me that is because it has the gap between the two blades that was always picked up by that third blade. Not a huge deal, but worth mentioning. As far as the cut, very nice in this department. I have sensitive skin and this gives me no irritation. It takes a bit longer to get that real close shave, but it at least it can do it unlike other electric razors. It also runs quiet- real quiet, and that's just a plus in my book. So, overall this is pretty good but as I said, I'm kinda missing that third rotary blade.

Good value. The instructions (yes I read them) say to allow a couple weeks to adjust to an electric razor if you've been using blades. And in fact, it did take at least that long to achieve (near) closeness of a blade. The extra attachments work well to trim my beard. It comes apart easily for cleaning. And I like that it is fully immersable.

I love this razor. I have not used an electric razor in years but decided to give this one a shot. It does not work on your face quite as well as a 3 head but the foil head does work well. Also, as am getting older I have hair growing on my back and shoulders and the back of my neck. It shaves my face well with the foil head and follow up with the twin head. If you have unwanted body hair the foil head is great for that as well. The battery charge lasts well enough to shave your face and do body grooming. It charges quickly. The best I can say is that if it breaks down the road I will buy another just like it. It is the perfect versatile face and body shaver for in or out of the shower.

I've had my Phillips norelco since 2005 and could've bought a new set of blades but decided to get a new one all together just in case. My past razor was perfect, lasted me forever and my son now is using it. These razors are great and durable.

Norelco generally has well-made shavers. I've owned several during that past 30+ years, so I had high hopes for this product. Overall it's okay, but the attachments seem cheap and flimsy compared to my previous shavers.

Great product! I got this kit because my skin is sensitive and I easily get razor burn with a regular razor (read below). Just some small gripes here and there: Main body: Compact, fits well in the hand. Completely waterproof, haven't had problems. The different heads attach relatively well, but I would be a bit on the gentler side with them if I were you. Power button is kind of flimsy for an otherwise good product, but this is a minor gripe. Shaving head: Works best with shaving foam. Does NOT work with wet skin without foam (at least for me), as the head can't glide well over my skin. Might work with dry skin and no foam depending on the hardness of your hair. Overall, I don't get bumps or razor burn with this (my main reason for buying) if I use it correctly, i.e. shave in circles, use lots of foam, DON'T get your skin wet (i.e. shake off the water after washing off the foam and hair). I haven't used a shaving attachment with three heads (this one only has two), but I imagine it would shave much better than this. Some of the reviewers say that other Philips heads work with this shaver, but I haven't tried it for myself. Beard styling head: I use it on the shortest setting as I don't have much beard to style, I just try to keep a regular haven't-shaved-in-a-day look, and for me this works perfectly. Body groom head: Works fantastic! I use it for armpits and private parts (male). As long as your hair down under is both CLEAN and DRY, and you're not in a hurry, this works very very well, and can result in a shave that is very close to the skin. Bag and charger: Nothing spectacular here, standard charger. Bag is fine, but after putting everything in it (main body + all heads + charger) it may be prone to bursting open as it is quite small.
