My original MS3-1000 finally became unreliable after many years, so I purchased another. I did so because of its reliability and close fast shave. The replacement met all of my expectations. It's simply a great razor.

Replacing my old MS3-1000

I have been using this model for years and was glad to find it still available here. My old one was not holding a charge very well and needed cutters and foils. This is a good but very basic level shaver. It does not work corded, the battery must be charged to use it. That was never a problem. The new one shaves much better than the old. The trimmer works now too. I guess I did not realize how much the performance of the old shaver had degraded, but this one should be good for many years to come. For the price it is an excellent shaver.

I would rather have an MS3-2700 or one that will shave, when the battery is all the way down, and you plug it into the charger. The MS3-1000 makes you wait a long time before it is re-charged enough, to finish your shave.

Apparently my previous post did not show my correct rating. My husband loves this razor, it sets by his chair, so he doesn't even have to get up to shave, plus it gives him a smooth look. Very pleased with this product.

I've used this shaver for over 20 years. It's a great shaver -- It shaves fast and close better than the newer shavers in my opinion! Too bad they don't manufacture it anymore. Used ones are still available but becoming harder to find. I don't understand why manufactures kill a really good product and then provide new products that are no better or even worse.
