Excellent Shaver!

I purchased this to replace my Remington shaver that had the foil continually pop off. I had to tape the thing on! This new Braun is excellent, and I feel the best shaver that I have purchased. I had a Braun shaver quite a few years ago, and it had lasted me many years until the battery could no longer take a charge. This model gives a close and smooth shave and I like the auto-cleaning feature. I would highly recommend this shaver for the quality and clean shave that it produces. It is well worth the money!

I bought this in December 2014 and delayed reviewing to enable regular usage before giving my opinion. I have a bald head and clean shaven so I use this daily and extensively. Having manually shaved for years and suffered regular cuts in my quest for a close shave I was also finding it quite costly. I've tried electric shavers in the past with limited success. I must admit I was surprised at how close this shaves and although it can take me 10 to 15 minutes even if I miss a day, I don't need a mirror so I can sit watching TV while shaving. I definitely recommend it and it's certainly giving me value for money. The cleaner seems to be working fine too.

This is a great shaver. Before researching, buying and using this shaver, I didn't realize the technology existed for a smoother than razor shave like this without the mess and razor burn. The only downside is that you have to replace the head and the cleaner. It's a revolution though. Not sure if the series 7 is better to be worth the cost as I haven't used it

It will not shave as close as a safety razor, however it will get very close. The skin is very smooth to touch, though visually you may still see remnants of the stubble.

Shaver works great. Head pivots to follow contour of face, chin and neck. Cleaning works perfectly. Only complaint is the blue light is very bright at night. If it would go off after charging it would be better. I unplug the changing stand at night due to this distraction.

Reliable, good shave with an easily stuck cleaning button

It's a well-made razor and has reliably served me for several years. The 565cc is found in retailers like Costco (where I got mine) and goes on sale a few times a year. Electric razors aren't for everybody, but it never has caused any irritation and the cleaning/charge station is a neat gadget. I would caution (and deduct a star) for the cleaning button at the top middle of the unit. It is very flimsy and had become stuck in the down position. It took a little extra effort (unplugged of course!) to reseat the button flush with the unit. I used a set of keys to work the button back into place some 20 minutes later.
