I have very sensitive skin and have tried every type of manual and electric shaver around. This thing has worked flawlessly so far with no irritation. Got it from target for 35 bucks with 10 dollar couppon if I baugh 2 more blades with it. Wasn't sure so I just got the unit. No blades. But it comes with one so it was goo enough to test. It is great. Came pre charged. But must charge for 8 hours before But even after 5 minutes it was much faster. Worked so good. Better than any other system I have ever used. No more cream. Just wave up and down and hair came off in 2 minutes. No irritation like with those 5 blades systems. And double edge was the best this is so much better. No cream. Just turn on and hair is gone before you even know it. It was pretty thick beard unshaved for 2 or 3 weeks and it was a breeze. No big deal. Just have to get used to it. Turn it upside down and go up and down even strokes under the chip. And right side up for the top of the face and sides. Smooth up and down fluid motions. Comes right off. Blades are a little expensive at 25 for 2 blades. But if they last a while it ok then. I used 1 double edge a day and tossed because they were cheap. 2 dollars and 50 cents at sally's for 5 blades. So 5 packs is 12 dollars and 50 cents. Price of one blade. Well one is not sold separately so you have to buy 2. But still 24/2 is 12 dollars and 50 cents. So not bad. And 5 x 5 is 25 blades. So 25 days or 3 and a half weeks. Almost 1 month. So it these last at least 2 or 3 weeks then its good. Haven't tried it in the shower yet but dry wise its ok. Only problem is the rechargable battery. Once it does I have to buy a new one blade. But still not bad if it last at least 1 or 2 years. Maybe they will make a AA or AAA versions soon I hope. My primary use for electric razors is for trimming and maintenance of my beard, and to occasionally clean shave for special occasions. I normally use two products at home to achieve this; a dedicated beard trimmer and a close-shave electric razor. This product has been able fulfill the duty of both. The flat blade allows for trimming sideburns or for shaping edges of your beard. You can use either side of the blade to achieve this, and it is easy to create any beard shape you want due to the flatness of the blade. By placing the flat of the blade against your skin, you can go for a clean shave. I have found that the cut is what you would expect from an electric razor, though it took more repetitions to get as close a shave as I wanted. It also helped to have my skin warmed up and damp from a shower. With the beard trimmer attachment, I find the trim to be comparable with a dedicated beard trimmer. It doesn’t clog much during trimming, with minimal hair pulling. The beard attachment removes the bi-directionality feature of the razor The only complaints I have is there is no blade guard for the razor. This makes me more concerned with damaging the blade during storage or transport. Second is the lack of size options for beard length. My sample came with three attachments, and I am unsure if more are available.
