Verified Purchase I typically avoid writing reviews for items with over 300 reviews and top reviews with over 100 votes. The chances of someone seeing my review are very low. That being said, I almost didn't buy this based on the top reviews, but I didn't know what I should buy instead other than a new shaver. Looking at more recent reviews, it seems that the issue isn't that Braun has cheaped out on replacement cassettes, but rather that they changed the design and some people don't like it. The new cassette I got was identical to the one I was replacing and it works just fine. I am quite happy and my shaver now works like new, saving me $200 on a totally new shaver.
