The Philips Norelco Body groom 3100 (Model # BG2034/42) allows you to trim and shave conveniently and safely below the neck. Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? ) Winner for the body! They should show the extension arm in the initial photo. If you are thinking about a Mangroomer, this design is much better. The screen and edge shavers on the Philips Norelco immediately make it a more effective tool (Mangroomer only offers an edge shaver). Though the back extender is shorter than the Mangroomer tool, this arm is sturdier and more ergonomic and I was able to take care of everything unwanted without assistance. It holds a nice long charge, going full speed. Great that it is rechargeable and you don't need to keep AA batteries on hand for this. I was able to use the guards to trim up the goatee but, my current shaver is better at the detail work-these guards are good if you want to keep a bit of your chest hair without being too overgrown. Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? ) This isn't my first Bodygroomer; it's my third. I bought my first one here on Amazon in 2006, shortly after they came out. After an unfortunate accident on the hard bathroom floor in 2009, I bought my second. I got this latest one, six years later in 2015 from Vine. I think my long experience with the product qualifies me to offer a knowledgeable review. I have been using this product to remove unwanted body hair all of this time. THE HIGHLIGHTS 1. It works! I have used it with the supplied combs to discreetly groom underarm and arm hair without shaving to bare skin. The three supplied combs lets you choose from about 1/4" to about an inch. So, for a guy like me, I can have a neatly groomed underarm without looking feminine.. I use it without a comb on other areas above and below the waist. It works everywhere I have tried it. And I have really tried it! For 9 years! 2. It's light and fits the hand nicely. This newest model has an improved shape that makes managing it in awkward spots quite easy. 3. They claim you can use it wet or dry. I found that using it wet created too much friction with my skin. It was much easier to shave with my skin dry. Try for yourself and decide. 4. When using it in ahem, areas where there is loose skin, be sure to pull the skin tight before shaving. It is possible to pinch and make small cuts on loose skin. 5. You can clean the shaving head under running water. If you do, oil the blades immediately. No oil is included with the Bodygroomer. You can get a small bottle of Braun shaver oil on Amazon for less than $5. After the head is dry. run the razor and put a couple of drops of oil on the screen. Use your finger tip to spread it.
