There must be two versions of the HQ110, an older one that consisted of a butane and alcohol and a current version that contains multiple ingredients. I gave the current one the old science class test for oily substances by spraying a brown paper bag and it tested positive, so it has some lubricant. I figured that a cleaner/lubricant would be a good idea to clean up the heads and make them spin easier and cut better. Sure enough, that is exactly what it did.
