By I spend a lot of time barefoot, so I tend to have a lot of callus my feet. I wanted to try an electric file to see how easy it would be to remove the dead skin. I was given the opportunity to try this product for free or at a discounted price in exchange of my honest, unbiased and truthful opinion. I was given the opportunity to try this product for free or at a discounted price in exchange of my honest, unbiased and truthful opinion. OVERVIEW: - The device comes with one replacement head, an electric power supply and a small brush to clean the head once you've used it - You have to charge the product fully before using it for the first time, at least 12 hours but not more than 16 hours - Once the device is fully charged, it can work non-stop for 30 minutes - According to a small icon on the back of the device, it's shower-approved WHAT I THOUGH OF THIS PRODUCT: - I used the file on my feet for about 4 to 5 minutes, covering all areas. It did a good job, but an ordinary manual file would have provided me with the same result - You can't apply a great deal of pressure since the device will stop. That means that deep crevasses are not so much softer - Quality of the device is ok. It feels somewhat plastic-ish - The device is easy to operate (only one button: on/off) and is comfortable in the hand - There's no carrying pouch and I think that would have been nice BOTTOM LINE: I had high expectations about this product. Overall, I recommend this product ONLY IF you don't expect miracles. Don't expect to have baby-soft skin after using this product. It wont happen. Verified Purchase So I was a bit skeptic in purchasing this item because I wasn't sure if it was going to work or if it was going to be one of those as seen on tv gimics where they make it seem like this product works and then you get all your money taken and you realize it's too late because your feet still look the same if not worse. I was wrong this time! This thing works and it works wonderfully and quickly! I am on my feet for more than 12 hours a day and sometimes that works hell on my feet, I don't have severe calluses like the one on the box because I like to stop them from developing ASAP. This product helps me do just that. At the slightest sign of a callus I use this product and my feet go right back to baby soft! I can not do anything without this product it is much easier to use than a pumps stone or a handheld foot file. The good thing about this product is that it's waterproof as well so if you prefer to use it in the shower you don't have to worry about ruining it! [You're currently reading my review from the white one's product page] I really enjoy these rechargeable callus removers. As most of us, the reasons we neglect the skin on our feet range from either not being able to comfortably reach them, we don’t have enough time, we don’t want to sit there with a cheese grater-like item, scrubbing back and forth to remove dead skin. We normally give up before its smooth enough, or we go fork out $40+ every 2 weeks to have a pedicure done. Not only that, but many diabetics don’t have good blood circulation, causing the build-up of dried skin on their feet, and usually have some form of neuropathy, putting them in danger if they use the sharp callus removers. I love that I could sit comfortably and let these callus removers do the work for me. The rollers are tough enough to remove thick dry skin, but are sensitive enough to not cut yourself (as long as you use these properly). Even if you press too hard, the rollers will simply stop rolling.
