Excellent Razor

I have thick/coarse, fast growing facial hair. This razor not only cuts closely it does so quickly and comfortably. I like the concept and function of the cleaning station. This razor is expensive. We often get what we pay for in quality and this is an example of such a product. I had given up on electric razors; using a Pils safety razor for many years (which is also expensive). My wife gave me this Braun 797 razor for Father's Day. Perhaps she wanted me to address the hair aggressively seeking purchase in my ears and nose recently. This razor takes on those areas as well. Using a combination of the shave head and pop-up clippers along with a little bending of these areas to expose my body's unwanted and unsightly enthusiasm for thermal protection remedies this nuisance adequately. It's been less than a year but I rarely use my blade razor anymore. This razor is extremely convenient, comfortable on the face and provides a close enough shave that I don't show stubble until the back half of my work day, very similar to my blade razor but admittedly not as good. I have only good things to say regarding this razor.

This is a great electrical shaver; the best I've ever used! I had my doubts about this shaver, or any electrical shaver. I’ve had problems in the past with electrical shavers, pulling my hair under my neck causing skin irritation. Moreover, as an African American male, multi blade razors are not great; due to the fact the cut below the skin surface. Since my hair is coarse and naturally curlier, ingrown hair really becomes an issue. Yes a hot towel can help with irritation, but not ingrown hair, which is the source of razor bumps. Concerning shaving with a razor, a safety razor is a black man’s best friend. Because it does not cut below the skin surface; meaning when your hair began to grow back, it does not get stuck beneath the skin causing ingrown hair; however, if you have sensitive skin shaving more than once a week can be problematic. I wanted to buy an electrical shaver to alternate between my safety razor, for those weeks where I have multiple meetings and needing a clean shave. After much research, I decided on the Braun Series 7-797cc cordless wet/dry shaver. I prefer a wet shave to prevent any irritation, which makes this shaver right for me. The shave cuts extremely close; my face feels like a baby bottom, really smooth. Also, I have no irritation or bumps. Yea! It’s the best shave I ever had hands down! Now it’s a bit expensive, but look at it as an investment- in you. Yes, I would recommend this shaver to anyone, especially African American men who suffer from razor bumps. On the issue of shaving, I have a new best friend! Note: ( I also use, The Art of Shaving shaving cream for my shaves)

Braun has a few different models in their Series 7 lineup. I honestly don't know why this product doesn't have more reviews. It is easily the best series 7 model out there. This razor is AMAZING!!! Super close shave, no discomfort. If men knew how good this thing is it would be the death of the traditional razor. Just buy this thing. It is the best!

I bought one at target for $217 after tax...I shaved that single night I will be good for another 3 days before I have to shave again...the only thing is that after a while it get pretty hot ..but over all smooth shave and left my skin like if u used a razor to shave awsome shave worth the price
