I regret wasting my money on it. It'd never pick up hair, such useless pink bastard! 😕 but this one..it works wonders, it takes all the hair on that area the first time and it's MUCH MORE quite than my previous one. ***keep in mind, you should put it in charge for 8 hours before using it, so just charge it the night before and you're good to go for 30-40 minutes, trust me, this item is so good that you can shave your entire body in 20 minutes. NOTE: I received this product for free from Philips Norelco in return for an honest, unbiased review of the product. The Philips Norelco Electric Shaver 2100 is what I am considering the lower end of a mid-range shaver. The shaver runs relatively quiet and didn't leave a mess when I used it for the past month (as in small fragments of hair). It is easy to clean and a charge over night was the easiest way to have it ready to go for the next day. Body: Most of the units housing is plastic. Approximately 20% of it is rubber and is located around the power button. This makes it easier to grip your thumb or fingers when shaving. When holding the shaver, my larger hands (glove size large) hold it just fine. I did not find the button locations inconvenient at all when in use. The body feels thin at some points when operating it and not as solid compared to other higher priced shavers. However, I could not "bend" the plastic with direct pressure, so that was good. Razors: The razors are sharp and hold up well. The guards keep the shaved hairs in just fine. The rotation to fit ones face works decently. If the razor head itself would pivot along with the razors, then it would be perfect. However, a simple adjustment of the hand and you got it. It is nice they are replaceable too when you need a new razor head. The replacement head is the SH30. However, I had a hard time finding the cost on the manufactures website, Target, and Amazon. Other replacement heads ran from $25 to $35 for other shaver models. Hopefully this is not the case otherwise you could just buy a whole new shaver (very wasteful design if the price is $35 for a new razor head). Verified Purchase Wow. I had a Remington cordless that I relied on for years and was sad to see go. If my scruff got long enough it would pull on the hairs which was unpleasant, even after new blades. I turned on this new one for the first time expecting some pull, but got none. It shaved every whisker off my face without issue. I ran the backside of my hand across my face to pick up any rough spots, as soon as I ran the shaver over those areas going against the grain it was razor smooth. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that it won't run while plugged in, because it can get wet and power and water don't mix. Electric razors designed for women just aren't that great, so I decided to try this. I figured that surely if it will shave a man's beard, it will shave my legs. I am very pleased with the results. The razor operates very quietly and is comfortable to use. There are no pulls or repeated passes like with my old razor (Panasonic Close Curves Women's Razor). My only regret is not buying it sooner.
