Yes, I think that I may be the only reviewer who did not get this shaver for free in exchange for my review. I paid full price for the shaver on Amazon and would do so again. I previously bought a Panasonic Arc 3 and it was terrible. It wouldn't touch the hairs on my neck and so I went back to a norelco shaver. I'm so glad I took a chance on this razor. Takes me about 90 second to get a smooth shave. The razor gets all the tough spots and is gentle to my skin. Not sure why they didn't default the speed to turbo as why would you want a slower shave? I use turbo all the time. So good I'm tempted to buy another if they ever go on sale. It's hard to find a good shaver. This is one.

Philips Norelco Electric Shaver 5500 For A Fast Close Shave With No Irritation

I got to try this Philips Norelco Electric Shaver 5500 for free from Philips Norelco as a Buzz Agent in exchange for an honest review. I have another Philips Norelco electric shaver that I love using so I went in presuming that this would be a quality product due to the brand since they are shaving experts and make excellent products and I was not disappointed. I have sensitive skin and am prone to problems with it due to shaving or chemicals in the products I use on my face so naturally I am very cautious about what I use on my face. Also, the corporation I work for requires I be completely clean shaven and likewise, my wife has sensitive skin and can't tolerate my rubbing a "scratchy" face against hers. So, I need a shaver that will not irritate my own sensitive skin and that will keep me perfectly clean shaven. I am happy to say that this shaver fits the bill perfectly. I have had absolutely no problems with skin irritation from it and its multi-precision blade system seems to capture even the shortest stubble to allow for a perfectly clean shaven face. It works fast and has turbo speed. You can use it wet or dry but I always use it with shaving gel and think that I get a better shave wet. There is a smartclick precision trimmer for sideburns and mustaches but I have neither yet using this attachment allows you to keep those areas even cleaner. I like it that the flex heads have 5 directions to capture hair growing in any direction. It fully charges in an hour and I get multiple shaves out of each charge. That saves a lot of time and work. It is quite flexible and I get a fast, close shave with no irritation so this product is perfect for my needs. Clean up is super-easy- just flip the top and rinse. This is a great product.

Best rotary electric yet

I shave both my head and face. All the oscillating and rotary razors (many) didn't "cut it". Blades cut my head to bloody shreds. Oscillators cut closer, but can't handle the 3D of the head/face/neck and miss a lot. The older HQ8 (blade) series was ok but couldn't use that platform wet. This is the first razor that both gave a 'clean', close shave, was able to do so on both my head and face, does not cut n shred your skin, AND am able to be used wet or dry (I prefer wet with gel). Highly recommend any of this series using SH50/52 blades on the wet/dry li-ion platform. A word about electric shavers, they can give a "Looks like a blade" cut, but it will never feel like a blade cut. Only reason not a 'five' is the usual, it still can't cut as close as a blade, and it misses some hair on my neck, but thats the norm for electrics. Gives a good looking painless and cut-free shave.
